Nathan Haldane’s intellectual property practice is focused on providing strategic advice in the field of trademarks, copyright, and advertising law.
Nathan advises clients on all issues related to trademarks, copyright and advertising law. He has assisted a broad range of clients in prosecuting and managing their intellectual property portfolios. Nathan has a particular interest in digital technologies and how they have affected intellectual property protections and the legal profession.
Nathan also works with clients on contentious IP issues, providing opinions regarding infringement and enforcement of IP rights. Nathan has acted for clients with respect to domain name and social media disputes and on matters before the Trade-marks Opposition Board and the Federal Court of Canada.
Prior to attending law school, Nathan worked for a digital library in London, England and Toronto and consulted on digitization projects in San Francisco and Washington, DC.
